Payment and cancellation of your ski vacation

After your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation from us with the most important details of your stay. This includes the chalet booked, the travel period, the number of guests, the price, and the payment information. On this page, you can read how payment works at Wens Chalets and what to do if you would like to change or cancel your booking.

Deposit

After receiving our written confirmation including the invoice, you pay a deposit of 25% of the total travel sum. We also charge a one-time administration fee of € 35.00. The booking confirmation states which amount you need to pay and by when this amount must be received by us. Always include the invoice number stated on the confirmation with your payment.

Do you have questions about the payment, or do you think something is incorrect? Please contact us as soon as possible.

Final payment

The remaining amount of the travel sum must be received by Wens Chalets no later than 8 weeks before the start of the trip. If you book within 8 weeks before departure, you pay the full travel sum in one payment.

Payment information

The payment details are stated in your booking confirmation or invoice. Always include the correct payment reference or booking number with your payment, so we can process it correctly.

Have you booked with several people? Please agree within your group who will make the payment. Wens Chalets preferably receives the payment according to the arrangements stated in the booking confirmation.

Changes to your booking

Would you like to change something after booking, such as the number of guests, the group composition, extras, or other details? Please contact us as soon as possible.

We will be happy to look at the possibilities with you. Whether a change can be made depends on the chalet, the travel period, availability, and the conditions of your booking.

Changes may involve costs or adjusted conditions. If this is the case, we will inform you in advance.

Canceling your booking

Do you need to cancel your booking? Please always contact us in writing as soon as possible. The cancellation conditions are included in our terms and conditions and depend, among other things, on the moment of cancellation.

Cancellation costs may apply. In general, the closer the cancellation is to the arrival date, the higher these costs will be. The exact conditions can be found in the terms and conditions that apply to your booking.

Between 16 weeks and 3 weeks before the start of the trip 90% of the travel sum
Within 3 weeks before departure, including the day of arrival 100% of the travel sum
If cancellation means the minimum number of participants is no longer met 100% of the travel sum

Cancellation insurance

We recommend checking carefully whether you have taken out suitable cancellation insurance. Cancellation insurance can be important if you unexpectedly cannot travel or need to end your stay early.

Please check with your insurer, among other things:

  • Which cancellation reasons are covered;
  • Up to what amount you are insured;
  • Whether all travelers in your group are properly insured;
  • When the insurance must have been taken out;
  • Which documents are required in the event of a cancellation.

Wens Chalets cannot assess your policy and does not provide personal insurance advice. If in doubt, always contact your insurer or insurance advisor.

Arriving later or departing earlier

Will you arrive later or depart earlier than planned? Please inform us in good time, so our chalet hosts or local contact person are aware.

A later arrival or earlier departure does not automatically entitle you to a refund. The conditions for this are included in the booking conditions and terms and conditions.

If something changes within your group

With group travel, the composition of the travel party may sometimes change. For example, someone may no longer be able to join, an extra person may be added, or the ages of children may affect the price calculation.

Please inform us of any group changes as soon as possible. We can then check whether this affects the price, the minimum number of guests, any discounts, or the chalet layout.
